BIOGRAD NA MORU - Ilirija dd, a tourist company from Biograd na Moru, also the host and organizer of the leading international nautical fair, has started counting down to the beginning of the 23rd Biograd Boat Show, the largest nautical fair in Central Europe, which will take place from 20 to 24. October 2021
The company is organizing a big return to the sea and sailing after last year successfully and safely organized the 22nd Biograd Boat Show, one of only three organized nautical fairs in Europe, in very demanding pandemic conditions.
As a golden member of the International Federation of Boat Show Organisers, this event has set high standards of organization and actively participates in the further development of the association by sharing its unique business model and innovative solutions in the development of the nautical industry and tourism.
The largest gathering place of the Croatian nautical industry traditionally attracts an exceptional number of exhibitors and visitors from the surrounding countries. They also witnessed the importance and commitment of the fair in 2020 because it was a rare opportunity in Europe to meet and communicate directly, and even about the global changes that have taken place. This year, expectations and announcements are much higher given the significant business intensity of the nautical industry, which of all types of tourist services has shown significant resilience, further strengthened by the fact that many exhibitors have announced expanded exhibitions to meet the growing interest of boaters. opportunity for numerous domestic and foreign exhibitors.
Biograd Boat Show this year will be marked by "4 fairs in one" - exhibition, congress, charter and business to business.
I.) Biograd Boat Show - exhibition fair
23rd BBS continues its journey as the largest maritime exhibition fair in Central Europe and a central gathering place for boaters from neighboring countries. They are followed by 22 years of constant growth and successfully maintained continuity with the show in the 2020 pandemic.
II.) 5. Croatian Nautical Days - congress fair
As part of the fair, the Croatian Chamber of Economy will hold its 5th Croatian Nautical Days, from October 20-22, 2021, which include numerous meetings, networking and business presentations in the congress program. Associations of marinas, small shipbuilding, boat service providers, charters, tourist shipowners and the Diving Tourism Association, in one word, all representatives of the real sector of the nautical industry and tourism in Croatia will also gather. Through the Croatian Nautical Days, the Biograd Boat Show became the main annual congress of the Croatian nautical industry and tourism.
III.) Croatia Charter Expo - charter fair
The third Croatia Charter Expo is organized from 21 to 22 October 2021, as a two-day business event, exclusively for the yacht charter industry and will enable charter fleet service providers to meet directly with agents, brokers and suppliers, additionally supported by an active program of a specialized charter congress. All participants will be registered on the Biograd B2B platform where they will be able to participate all days of the show. Croatia Charter Expo will be joined by the international congress of the Boat Charter Agency Association with over 200 international members.
IV.) Biograd B2B - business fair
The importance of the fair and the interest of the business world was the reason why the Biograd Boat Show developed its business to business (B2B) platform. Biograd B2B is a nautical-business networking event during the entire show, which allows business visitors to register, participate and arrange meetings, both with exhibitors at the show and with other business participants and participate in the entire nautical congress program.
In the segment of luxury motor yachts, Absolute will have the Croatian premiere of the new Absolute Coupe 48, directly from the world premiere in Cannes. In the catamaran segment, the Bali 4.2 and 4.6 sailboats will have their Croatian premiere with the Bali 4.3 motor catamaran.
Electric boats will be more represented, and include the world premiere of the Solar Ferry compact electric catamaran powered by solar ideal for excursions and transfers, which will be presented by Agena Marin.
At the BBS you will be able to see some of the new brands of boats that will be presented on the Croatian market, such as the brand of motor boats De Antonio from Spain and 3B Craft sports fishing boats from Italy, the Finnish brand Saxdor will present the Saxdor 200 Sport with four seats, while the following RIB brands will have their Croatian debut: the Italian brands Panamera and AB Inflatables, and the Canadian Brand Gala. A new, luxury shipyard for Solaris sailboats will also have its presentation.
