About BBS

Biograd Boat Show is the largest boat show in Croatia and one of the most significant nautical events on the Adriatic. It takes place at the end of the October in Biograd na Moru, at the renowned Marina Kornati. With a long-standing tradition, the show annually brings together numerous exhibitors, professionals from the marine industry, enthusiasts, and the wider public interested in the sea, boats, and the nautical lifestyle.

The organizer of the show is Ilirija d.d., a well-established tourism company that manages Marina Kornati and is credited with the continued growth of the event. Over the years, the show has evolved into a key business gathering for the Croatian and regional nautical sector. First held in the late 1990s, the show now attracts over 400 exhibitors and several thousand visitors from Croatia and abroad each year.

Biograd Boat Show covers a wide range of exhibits: boats in water and on land, engines, equipment, marine electronics, nautical clothing, service providers, charter agencies, marinas, and many other related businesses. A particularly important feature is the strong presence of Croatian manufacturers of boats and marine equipment, contributing to the promotion of the domestic industry.

One of the show’s greatest advantages is its timing — held at the end of the nautical season, when many professionals and boat owners are free to plan future purchases, investments, and partnerships. This makes it an ideal venue for contract signing, product launches, and industry networking.

Thanks to its location in the heart of Dalmatia, the Biograd Boat Show also offers a unique atmosphere — a Mediterranean vibe, proximity to national parks like Kornati and Krka, and excellent transport links with the rest of Croatia and Europe. Marina Kornati, the host venue, boasts over 800 berths and top-tier infrastructure, enabling the display of a large number of vessels in a natural setting.

The event also features a variety of accompanying programs: conferences, workshops, B2B meetings, sustainability panels, and evening entertainment. A notable highlight is the Croatia Charter Expo, a specialized event held in parallel with the main show, dedicated to the charter industry. It provides a platform for networking and business development between charter operators, agents, and suppliers.

Biograd Boat Show continues to grow in international recognition, thanks to its high-quality organization, an increasing number of foreign exhibitors and visitors, and partnerships with leading European fairs and institutions. It is also a Gold Member of the International Federation of Boat Show Organizers (IFBSO), which raises its professional profile even further.
In 2024, Biograd Boat Show celebrated its 26th edition and it was expanded to include new exhibition areas, with an emphasis on the green transition within the nautical sector. A special focus was placed on electric boats and environmentally friendly technologies.

Today, Biograd Boat Show is not just a marketplace for vessels and equipment, but a true platform for the development of the entire nautical sector — from industry and tourism to education and innovation. Its importance continues to grow each year, making Biograd na Moru an essential destination on the European nautical map.
