Ivica Vuksan Zembo Exhibition: The Hidden Kingdom
From October 22 to 26, 2025, visitors of the Biograd Boat Show will have the chance to explore The Hidden Kingdom – an exhibition by Ivica Vuksan Zembo that blends art, ecology, and awareness.
Zembo has long been creating art from what the world has thrown away. Apart from acrylic paintings, his works are made of driftwood, plastic, and metal debris collected from the sea and the shore. What once was waste becomes, in his hands, a reminder of the beauty and fragility of life beneath the surface.

In this new series, inspired by marine life, the artist examines the growing impact of plastic and other waste on underwater ecosystems. His sculptures and installations, shaped from recycled materials, tell a story of a sea struggling for breath, suffocated by pollution we choose not to see.
The Hidden Kingdom is more than a visual experience. It’s a call to awareness and responsibility, urging every visitor to rethink their relationship with nature and the sea. Visit the exhibition and discover what lies beneath the surface — of the ocean, and of conscience.
