Reposado 52 M – A Masterpiece of Croatian Shipbuilding
How a Sailing Yacht from a Small Dalmatian Shipyard Took the World by Storm
In June 2025, a new star emerged on the global stage – Reposado, a luxury superyacht that blends design excellence, top-tier performance, and deeply rooted maritime heritage. Built by the small but highly ambitious Croatian company Tramontana Yachts, this 52-meter sailing yacht clinched the coveted International Yacht & Aviation Award for Best Sailing Yacht Design, affirming that Croatian shipbuilding deserves its place among the elite.
Reposado is no coincidence. As the third yacht to come out of the Tramontana workshop, it builds upon – and significantly surpasses – the acclaimed Scorpios model. In fact, the concept for Reposado began to take shape during the very construction of its predecessor, with the clear intention to take the next bold leap – to create a yacht that would leave a lasting impression, not just through its looks, but through its soul.
“The design of Reposado is my personal expression,” says Antonio Ivanišević, founder of Tramontana Yachts. “This yacht is not just a product – it is the result of a decade of experience, experimentation, and constant refinement.”
The name Reposado was chosen with intent – from Spanish, it means calm, balanced, mature. And that is exactly what defines this yacht: luxury that doesn’t shout, but resonates with quiet confidence. While her cutting-edge technology and performance exceed the expectations of even the most discerning owners and guests, the true hallmark of Reposado is her character – a distinctive blend of Croatian craftsmanship, authentic design, and maritime soul.
Tramontana Yachts is based in Krilo Jesenice, a small Dalmatian port with a long-standing shipbuilding tradition. There, in seaside workshops, a dedicated team of engineers, designers, and master craftsmen share a common philosophy: a yacht is not built with hands alone – but with heart. Every piece of wood, every seam in the sail, every curve of the hull is carefully thought through – guided by a clear vision that each Tramontana yacht must be both unique and unmistakable.
Yet Reposado is not the end of the story – it is just the beginning of Tramontana’s ambitious journey.
“Our goal is not to mass-produce yachts,” says Ivanišević. “We want to create stories. Each of our vessels must be one of a kind – visually striking on the outside, truly alive on the inside.”
In a world dominated by corporate giants and industrial uniformity, Tramontana Yachts stands as a symbol of courage, authenticity, and uncompromising quality. And Reposado – as its proud ambassador – remains living proof of what Croatian minds and hands can create when given the freedom to dream.
