The 27th Biograd Boat Show opened in Ilirija’s Marina Kornati

The 27th Biograd Boat Show, the largest boat show in Central Europe and the largest boat show in Croatia, was opened in Marina Kornati, organized and hosted by Ilirija d.d., and is also a proud gold member of the International Federation of Boat Show Organizers (IFBSO), which brings together 36 prominent world boat shows.

The company Ilirija d.d., the organizer and host of the fair, has a rich 68-year history and a deep-rooted passion for nautical activities that has lasted for over 48 years. Ilirija d.d. is a pioneer in the development of nautical tourism in Croatia, having built the first targeted and dedicated nautical tourism port in Croatia 48 years ago, and with that, formed the first charter fleet of its own of 40 Elan boats. This has elevated Biograd to the cradle of nautical tourism in the country, and today, thanks to the dedication and development of Ilirija, it is the third most visited nautical port on the Croatian Adriatic.

The Biograd Boat Show, organized by Ilirija d.d. for over two and a half decades, is more than just a nautical fair. It is a meeting place for eminent manufacturers and traders, sailing enthusiasts and professional organizations, with an exhibition of boats at sea and exhibitors' stands on the piers of the third largest marina in Croatia.

This 27th edition of the Biograd Boat Show is also a record, with more than 400 exhibitors and 500 new vessels up to 24 m. To accommodate exhibitors, the space in the sea was expanded by 2,000 m2, Hall C was expanded by 800 m2, and brokerage vessels as well as more than 20 new car models were exhibited in the city port and on the Biograd promenade.

This year's edition of the Biograd Boat Show once again includes "5 fairs in one", i.e. the 27th Biograd Boat Show - exhibition fair, the 10th Biograd B2B - business fair, the 9th HGK Croatian Nautical Days as a congress fair, the 7th Croatia Charter Expo as the leading charter fair and the 2nd Croatia Luxury and Adventure Travel Show, thus connecting all key segments of the nautical industry and tourism in one place, continuously contributing to their further development and affirmation.

The exhibition section of the fair features over 400 exhibitors from the country and the world. Boat enthusiasts can enjoy more than 50 premieres of vessels from prominent international and domestic companies. Among the most notable are four world premieres coming straight from Croatian shipyards, namely the More 50 Luxe vessel from the Split-based More Yachts company, which is presenting two versions of the AMORE 24 vessel for the first time in the world at the Biograd fair. The Kufner 38 sailboat from the Kufner Yachts company will also experience a world premiere. The Badilli Zero Boat motorboat, 7.10 meters long, will have its European premiere, while out of as many as 22 Croatian premieres, we highlight vessels from the Angeline Yachting range: Fountaine Pajot Samana 59, Beneteau Oceanis 52, Dufour 48, Beneteau Oceanis 47 and Fountaine Pajot New 41, and the Bali 5.8 catamaran, which will be presented in Croatia for the first time by Croatia Yachting.

In the congress part of the fair, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce is organizing the 9th Croatian Nautical Days from 22-25 October at the Captain's Club of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, with four full days of meetings of industry associations, business presentations and social networking events.

In parallel with the nautical fair, the Biograd B2B nautical business platform allows business visitors to register in the Biograd B2B business directory and schedule meetings with companies of interest in advance and attend networking events.

Croatia is known to have by far the largest charter fleet in the world with over 5,000 yachts, and the central gathering place for the charter industry is the Croatia Charter Expo, a B2B event during this Biograd boat show that offers charter agencies over 3,000 yachts for rent.

After last year's debut at the Biograd fair, the Croatia Luxury and Adventure Travel Show will experience its second edition, which will be held this year from Friday, October 24th to Sunday, October 26th in Hall D and will include luxury travel exhibitors and a large selection of luxury cars and exotic cars for rent.

The legendary entertainment program also known as the Biograd Boat Show, a popular experience among the audience for its dynamism and liveliness, will include spectacular fireworks, free concerts by Soulfingers and Neno Belan, energetic after-parties, as well as numerous evening events at the Marina Kornati restaurant.

Gastronomy - In addition to numerous food and beverage options, a new Quick Stop Food and Beverage Corner has been introduced this year, between Hall C and Hall D in the Kornati marina in the north, offering fast service and affordable prices. Hall B will host the popular Festival of Authenticity from Thursday to Sunday, where local OPGs will offer a wide selection of the best local products.

Online ticket sales are open at Entrio.hr, the ticket price remains unchanged at 10 euros, with free admission for children under 12 years of age.

The knowledge, experience and overall infrastructure of the company Ilirija d.d., the organizer and host of the fair, with the support of national and county structures and the City of Biograd na Moru, as well as partnership cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Croatian National Tourist Board and the support of our sponsors, has enabled the Biograd Boat Show to grow into an event of exceptional importance for the nautical industry and nautical tourism, as the most competitive and highest quality form of Croatian tourism.
